Take a day trip to historic Greyfield Inn on Clumberland Island, Ga or take a river crues with Amelia Island River Cruises, next you can enjoy the freshest regional fare at many restaurants and go shopping on Center St. in the historic section of Fernandina Beach. There are many world class golf courses to challenge any player and championship tennis courts to play on. Enjoy a day trip to Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, Ga.
Experience Cumberland Island with round trip boat transportation from Amelia Island, you will receive an historic tour of Greyfield Inn. Bikes, kayaks and fishing equipment are available for further exploration of the Island. Greyfield Inn is within a short walk or bike ride to the beach, where Greyfield Inn provides a gazebo, beach hairs, umbrellas and beach towels or visit Dungeness and the Ice House Museum, which explains the history of the Island. Day trips are Monday through Thursday on Lucy R. Ferguson that departs Amelia Island at 9:30 AM and departs Cumberland Island at 3:30 PM.

The Greyfield Inn

Enjoy gourmet dinning at Greyfield Inn.
Fine dinning package starts at 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday as Lucy R. Ferguson departs Amelia Island for Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island Ga. You will be met at Greyfield's dock and given an historic tour of Greyfield Inn. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres with cocktails before dinner from the bar and an extensive wine list available with dinner to compliment the three course gourmet meal. There is still time for an after dinner drink on the porch before your departure at 9:30 PM to return to Amelia Island.

Kelly Seahorse Ranch offers guided, beachfront horseback riding. Saddle up and take a ride with experienced staff and gentle, well-trained horses along the beautiful beaches of Amelia Island. Ride horseback on miles of beach where you may witness many of the island animals in their natural habitat. Dolphins at play, soaring freat blue herons, wood storks, and ospreys, or an occasional Right Whale sighting are possibilities. Daily rides begin at 10 a.m, noon, 2 pm and 4 pm.

Your reservation is confirmed once your credit card number is taken and our representative has confirmed that your specified number of horses are available. The City of Fernandina Beach has very nice tennis courts which are open to public use. Call the Recreation Department at 277-7350 for information, or pick up the keys for the tennis courts at the Atlantic Avenue Community Center. The public tennis courts are located on Atlantic Avenue at 13th Street.
